A NESA affiliate group has been created for Alpha Phi Omega brothers!
Membership for this affiliate group is composed of alumni of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America to continue to promote the principles between of Alpha Phi Omega (APO), the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA).
Alpha Phi Omega is a national college service fraternity located at over 350 college and university campuses throughout the nation. Although the fraternity is not part of the Boy Scouts of America, it was founded upon and operates under the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. APO has a special relationship with BSA and is listed in the Boy Scout Handbook. The National Council of the BSA has recognized Alpha Phi Omega as the National Honorary Scout Fraternity for BSA since 1932.
Today, Alpha Phi Omega provides its members the chance to develop leadership skills through service projects on their campus, in their community and across the nation. Since its founding in 1925, more than 400,000 students have chosen APO.
The fraternity has also established a formal Alumni Association in order to recognize and promote Eagle Scouts in the fraternity. If you have any further questions concerning Alpha Phi Omega and the NESA Affinity group, please see the links below.
