Joe Weingarten is a retired Aerospace Engineer with 11 patents, authored several books and is credited with the development of the internal structural criteria that all modern aircraft and spacecraft are based on today world-wide. As a young engineer the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics selected him as the top engineer in the nation. He currently is the last manufacturer in the United States of Sterling Silver military insignia.
Joe is a Distinguished Eagle Scout and recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and is a James E. West Fellow. He is on the Area Committee, is Chair of the NESA Awards and Recognition Committee and runs both the NESA and Scouting Alumni & Friends merchandising on line stores. His son is also a Distinguished Eagle Scout and grandson is now a Cub Scout.
