$536,000 in Scholarships Awarded to 65 Eagle Scouts

Sixty-five Eagle Scouts living in 31 states, one U.S. territory, and two countries were recently selected for a total of $536,000 in college scholarships provided by the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA), Boy Scouts of America (BSA). They competed among more than 5,000 young men and women representing their hometown BSA councils.

Each scholarship recipient and the council they represent have been recognized here on nesa.org.

“Our team of reviewers spent two months carefully reviewing each application,” said Rich Brenner, NESA’s Vice President for Finance and Scholarships. We are continually impressed by the quality of young Eagle Scouts from around the country.”

Eden Tillotson, a National Cooke Scholarship recipient added: “I am incredibly grateful for this scholarship and so thankful for everything the Boy Scouts of America has given me. This scholarship will truly help me in pursuing my undergraduate degree. I feel so honored to have been awarded this scholarship and I promise to make the National Eagle Scout Association proud.”

The National Eagle Scout Association provides college scholarship opportunities each year as a benefit to young members. Scholarships are funded by a NESA Endowment.
