Bruce is a National NESA Communication Team member, earning his Eagle in 1981 in the San Gabriel Valley Council (Pasadena, Calif.). He is a recipient of the NESA Silver Wreath Award and a NESA Legacy Fellow. He and his wife Anneliese are the proud parents of three Eagle Scout sons, Jonathan, Benjamin and Gabriel. His avocation is Scouting, but his vocation is as a policy analyst at the U.S. Department of Labor. Bruce is currently a Scouts BSA Roundtable Commissioner and merit badge counselor for the American Labor merit badge in Montgomery County, Maryland. He is a proud UC Irvine Anteater alumnus and a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow.
