The BSA’s National Annual Meeting (NAM) in Orlando, Florida, from May 6 to 9, 2024, is a crucial event where BSA leadership will gather to discuss key imperatives such as safety, relevant programming, exceptional experiences, financial stability, and revitalization of the brand. With a packed agenda spanning three days, attendees will explore how to implement these imperatives and prepare the next generation of youth for life. How Do I Get Involved With NESA at NAM?

During the BSA’s National Annual Meeting, NESA and the BSA Alumni Association offer various engaging activities for Scouters to enjoy. These offerings, most of which will need to be selected during NAM registration, provide opportunities for networking, professional development, and connecting with fellow Scouting alumni. Move Scouting Forward through this regional alumni reception connecting diverse Scouting generations through a social gathering at the 2024 National Annual Meeting. Reception attendees will engage with national leaders of the BSA, the BSA Alumni Association, and representatives from local councils, as well as well as various Alumni Communities.

The National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) empowers Eagle Scouts to perpetuate the mission of Scouting for future generations and is continuously evolving.  Join NESA President Rich Pfaltzgraff, his Vice Presidents, and professional staff for an interactive session where you will have the opportunity to learn about recent and future NESA initiatives in the areas of membership, scholarships, national events and programs, awards and recognition, training, and marketing and communications.  Attendees will learn how to strengthen their NESA efforts at the local council level, how NESA can benefit their council, and who to contact for different types of support.  Time will also be allotted for attendees to ask questions of the NESA leadership.
