Ron Herring received the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award during the Laurel Highlands Council’s 75th Annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner at Acrisure Stadium. Joined by family and fellow Scouts, he shared heartfelt reflections celebrating Scouting’s enduring legacy in Western Pennsylvania.

Robert F. Clifford recently returned to the United States after over two years in Kyiv, Ukraine, where he served as Mission Advisor and Country Program Director for US DOJ-sponsored law enforcement training. A retired FBI senior executive, he managed a team assisting Ukrainian law enforcement and was significantly involved in investigating Russian war crimes.

Eagle Scout Daniel, known for his dedication as an educator, mentor, and friend, has concluded his earthly journey from November 12, 1947, to June 29, 2023.

LTC Rich Cassem retired from the U.S. Army and now serves as the Senior Army Instructor for Shikellamy School District in Sunbury and Northumberland, Pennsylvania.

A Coast Guard Academy graduate has retired as a Captain after 28 1/2 years of active duty. He commanded two Coast Guard Cutters and an R&D prototype ship.

In September 2023, Abigail Sue joined her two brothers and father as an Eagle Scout. In addition to being Eagles, all four family members are Vigil Honor members of Itibapishe Iti Hollo Lodge.

Ken Fritzsche youngest daughter Reagan followed in his footsteps by becoming an Eagle Scout. Reagan is a founding member of Troop 1853 in Springfield, Virginia.

Duane has returned home, where he earned his Eagle, to volunteer as the charted org rep for two local units. He has served the Missouri VFW State Scouting Team for the past fifteen years.

William Kropa, Chairman of the Marine Corps League's National Scout Committee, was congratulated by the National Commandant of the Marine Corps League, for being selected to receive the Silver Antelope. The award was presented at the NAM event in Atlanta, GA, on May 31, 2023.

Troop 351 held an Eagle Court of Honor for 13 Eagle Scouts who earned the rank during the COVID pandemic and were unable to celebrate.

Evan received the AFCEA International’s prestigious Emerging Leadership Award during a ceremony on February 13th, in conjunction with the AFCEA West Conference.

Joseph and Michael are the first in their family to be Eagle Scouts.
