Mark Frederick recently returned to Scouting after a long absence, but in the short time he has been re-engaged, he finds himself serving as a Troop Committee Advancement Chair, Committee Chair for a newly forming Sea Scout Ship, Assistant District Commissioner, District Marketing Chair, and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association's Communication and Marketing Subcommittee. Mark is retired from University teaching where he provided instruction to masters and doctoral level students in Research Methods and Design, Dissertation Development, Interpersonal Relationships, and Leadership. He currently owns and manages ParabolicVision Multimedia, a video production company that provides primarily pro bono services to not for profit, human services interests. Mark hails from Indiana and earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University. He is an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow.
