ANNOUNCING EAGLES’ CALL INSIDER |
Hey NESA members! You’ve been telling us how much you miss receiving the National Eagle Scout Association’s (NESA’s) treasured Eagles’ Call magazine. We hear you. And although times have changed, we found a way to bring back some of the most valued aspects of the printed magazine in a new digital periodical called Eagles’ Call Insider (ECI). As a NESA member you will automatically receive this enewsletter, as long as we have a current email address for you.
Based on Eagle Scout responses to the survey we sent last summer asking how NESA can be of the most value, Eagles’ Call Insider will focus on how NESA can help our members protect the mission, values, and time-honored traditions of Scouting for future generations. You will see this articulated in our tagline, “Empowering Eagle Scouts to Perpetuate the Mission of Scouting for Future Generations.”
How will an e-newsletter do this, you ask. Well, each issue of Eagles’ Call Insider will feature simple ways for NESA members to join, get involved, or give in ways that help us support the mission of Scouting. For example, how to update your contact information so we can be sure we can share information that matters. We will also provide tools so it’s easier to get involved with your national or local NESA committees and volunteer opportunities at your local council.
If you’re a NESA member and currently receive the Scouting Wire Alumni newsletter, you will also receive Eagles’ Call Insider. (Note: If you only want to receive one of the newsletters, simply unsubscribe in the link at the bottom of the email from the newsletter you no longer want to receive.)
Eagles’ Call Insider will work hand-in-hand with our new website. Look for new feedback tools and other top-requested features including Eagle family pictures and heartwarming stories coming in the next few months.
If you’re a NESA member with a current email address, your first issue of ECI will hit inboxes very soon!
P.S. If you have ideas you’d like considered, please contact us and let us know. We can’t promise we’ll be able to deliver on all requests, but we promise to do our best to deliver valuable information.
