Rich is a member of the Eagle Scout Class of 1983 earning his award in Sea Isle City, NJ. He has been actively involved in Scouting for over 25 years serving in many roles including Merit Badge Counselor, Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Pack Committee Chair, Den Leader, Council Executive Board Member, and District Chair. He has served the National Eagle Scout Association as the Vice President of Finance from 2013 until 2021 and on the NESA Jamboree staff in 2013 and 2017, in addition to multiple NESA task forces and special projects.
During Rich’s time as a Scouter, he has earned several awards for his service to Scouting including the NESA Distinguished Service Award, the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, the Silver Beaver Award, and the District Award of Merit. He is a member of the NESA Legacy Society and a James E West Fellow.
Outside of Scouting, Rich serves as the Chief Financial Officer for a financial services firm and is a CFA charterholder. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Albright College and an MBA from LaSalle University.
Rich and his wife Tiffanie have four children. His older son is an Eagle Scout and his younger son is on his trail to Eagle, both serve on local camp staff. His two daughters were part of the first all-female troop from the BSA to attend a World Jamboree in 2019. His older daughter has served on staff at Philmont.
