As an entrepreneur in the upstream oil and gas business, Glenn has formed, grown and sold several investor backed companies. He was an early mover in the first shale gas resource development in the USA. He is currently the President and Managing Director of Stonetex Oil Corp.
Glenn serves as a member of the National Executive Board and National Foundation of the Boy Scouts of America. He served as President of the National Eagle Scout Association for 8 years and is Chairman of the BSA National High Adventure Sea Base.
Actively involved in his local Scout troop and council, he served as Scoutmaster and Troop Committee Chair of a 100+ boy troop. He has served on the Executive Board of the Longhorn Council in a variety of positions including Council Commissioner and Council President in addition to 4 years as BSA Southern Region Area 2/3 President.
Glenn is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow and has been awarded the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, National Alumnus of the Year, Silver Buffalo, Antelope and Beaver, NESA Distinguished Service Award and the Celtic Cross.
He is a member of the finance committee, executive committee, and board of directors of the Texas Ballet Theatre, and has had board level involvement in other nonprofits, including the Fort Worth Opera and First Presbyterian Church Fort Worth where he is an Elder. In the energy business he served on the board of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers.
He and his wife Melinda have four children (3 Eagle Scout sons) and a daughter who was a professional Scouter in Heart of America Council.
